An insightful and highly valuable meeting was held within the framework of the EU Sustainability Navigator Action Platform, organized through the collaboration of the United Nations Global Compact Network Georgia and UNFPA.
Particularly noteworthy was the presentation of the ESG Guide for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs), which provides practical guidance and support for businesses seeking to integrate sustainability principles into their operations. We also followed with great interest the presentation of the preliminary findings of the research study, “Fatherhood, Care Work and Leave in Georgia,” highlighting the growing importance of the social dimension of ESG.
Today, ESG is no longer limited to environmental and governance considerations. It also encompasses people-centered policies, workplace culture, equal opportunities, employee well-being, and responsible organizational development.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the United Nations Global Compact Network Georgia, UNFPA, and all speakers for organizing this important event, sharing valuable knowledge and practical experience, and contributing to the advancement of sustainable and responsible business practices in Georgia.
