The program consists of theoretical and practical modules. 15 hours each week—part in a classroom setting, part on a training ground or a construction site.
In the construction sector, scaffolding is used daily to perform work at height. Scaffolding-related accidents are one of the leading causes of death and serious injury in the construction industry. According to statistics, 65% of scaffolding-related incidents are caused by improper assembly, skipped inspections, or exceeding load limits. The Georgian Labor Safety Law (No. 415 and its related technical regulations) requires that scaffold erection, inspection, and dismantling be carried out only by qualified specialists.
