One of the most valuable parts of the EVBB EU Policy Camp 2026 was the opportunity to visit VET institutions in Thessaloniki.
Study visits provide much more than a tour—they offer the chance to observe how vocational education is delivered in practice, exchange experiences with educators and institutional leaders, and discover innovative approaches to teaching, learning, student support, and cooperation with industry.
It was a privilege to visit the Vocational High School of Kalamaria and Training Center of Kalamaria and Metropolitan College.
These visits provided valuable insights into different educational models, quality assurance practices, and innovative learning environments that will inspire the continued development of Safety Academia Vocational College.
We sincerely thank the host institutions for their warm hospitality, openness, and willingness to share their experience and best practices. International study visits like these are invaluable for strengthening partnerships, promoting mutual learning, and advancing excellence in vocational education.
Learning from each other is one of the strongest drivers of innovation in VET.
