„2nd Global VET Thematic Team Annual Event – Skills for a Competitive Europe“
In Bruges, Belgium, in the heart of Europe, it will be represented not only as a participant, but also as one of the main workshop-leading organizations.
The event is organized by - and brings together:
▪️ Representatives of the European Parliament
▪️ Representatives of the European Commission
▪️ Leading Organizations in Vocational Education
▪️ International agencies

On behalf of our college, the college's founder and director, Mr. David Mazmishvili, and Ms. Ilona Chukhuа — Head of the College's Quality Service — will present an international workshop on the topic:
„Skills for a Competitive Europe“
“Skills for a Competitive Europe”
The workshop will cover:
🔹 Modern professional skills
🔹 Digital transformation
🔹 Innovations
🔹 Continuing education
🔹 Promoting employment
🔹 Vocational Education and Industry Collaboration
🔹 Strengthening European and international partnerships.
Today, Europe clearly recognizes that economic competitiveness cannot be built on traditional academic education alone. That is why the European Union and the European Parliament are making a major investment:
▪️ in vocational education
▪️ in developing practical skills
▪️ Technical competencies
▪️ Green and digital skills
▪️ In training personnel needed for modern industry.
The old stereotype that the only path to success is a traditional four-year university degree is gradually crumbling. The modern world increasingly values:
✔ Real skills
✔ Practical experience
✔ Technical knowledge
✔ The ability to adapt
✔ Continuous development.
We are particularly proud that, on behalf of the R&I, Georgia will be represented as one of the lead organizations of the main workshop—"Skills for a Competitive Europe"—and will actively lead:
▪️ Shaping the discussion
▪️ Sharing experiences
▪️ A discussion of prospects for the development of international vocational education.
The future belongs to the countries that can most quickly prepare people with modern skills.
It is a great responsibility and an honor for us to ensure that Georgia is represented with dignity in this important process.
