Today was a particularly important and pleasant day for the Security Academy College.
It was a great honor for the college's founder and director to meet with Member of the European Parliament Brigitte Van Den Berg and to personally hear her strategic vision for the development of vocational education, on strengthening skills-based education in Europe and the challenges of the future labor market.
Bridget van den Bergh represents a group of European leaders who actively support the transformation of vocational education, the promotion of youth employment, the development of lifelong learning, and the closer alignment of education and industry. Her work clearly demonstrates that in modern Europe, vocational education is perceived as one of the main foundations for economic development, competitiveness, and building a strong society.
The exchange of ideas and experiences on the perspectives for vocational education, international cooperation, the challenges of skills shortages, and Europe's future educational visions was particularly interesting during the meeting.
Such meetings once again confirm how important international cooperation and the strengthening of vocational education are for the future of both Georgia and Europe as a whole.
